The Bruce Retchin-Neil Goren Fund
One of our most important services to the community, sponsored by the SNHMJC, is the Bruce Retchin-Neil Goren Fund.
When Bruce Retchin, our good friend and officer of the SNHJMC passed away 20 years ago, the club created this fund for the express purpose of helping Jewish children in the community. The fund provides Kiddish Cups to the Bat Mitzvah and Bar Mitzvah students.
When Neil Goren, another long-term officer and leading contributor to the SNHJMC since its inception, passed away, it was decided to add his name to the fund.
Please consider adding a few dollars to your SNHJMC membership check for this worthy cause.
