SUMMARY:SNHJMC & TBA Sisterhood Day Hike at Mines Falls
DESCRIPTION:The Temple Beth Abraham Sisterhood and the Southern NH Jewish Men’s Club are proud to present a Sunday Morning Breakfast and Hike for Members and their Adult Guests on Sunday November 1st 2026 \n \nPlease register in advance by emailing breakfastrsvp@snhjmc.org to confirm your registration and indicate whether you plan to join us for breakfast at 9:15 AM or just the hike which will begin approximately at 10:30 AM at the Mine Falls Parking Area at the end of Coliseum Ave (just passed Hannafords at Exit 6 of the Everett Turnpike). For detailed hiking information click here. \nThe SNHJMC Kitchen Crew and Sisterhood Members will be preparing a sumptuous feast of scrambled eggs\, hash brown potatoes\, bagels\, lox\, and whitefish salad with veggies\, fruit\, orange juice\, milk\, coffee\, and water.  The cost for breakfast is $10 for members and guests of either SNHJMC or Sisterhood. The cost for breakfast for a non-member will be $18. \nAll attendees are invited to join the Men’s Club and/or Sisterhood if they wish to take advantage of the breakfast discount. Candidates will also have an opportunity to present an introductory statement. \nThis is a free event with a Continental Breakfast served at 9:15 am. The Political Town Hall will begin promptly at 9:45 am. Advanced registration is required. Click here to register\nThe Town Hall is open to the public. The forum is intended to give voters an opportunity to hear directly from candidates in a respectful and informative setting. This is a bipartisan\, educational forum. Campaign signs and banners\, as well as disruptive behavior\, will not be permitted.\n———- \nConfirmed Candidates include:\nCandidates for US House 2nd Congressional District\nU.S. Representative Maggie Goodlander and Lily Tang Williams\, who are running for the U.S. House of Representatives in New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District. Goodlander\, a Democrat\, was first elected to represent the 2nd District in November 2024.\n——–\nCandidates for US Senate\nU.S. Representative Chris Pappas\, a Democrat\, is running for the U.S. Senate. Pappas currently represents New Hampshire’s 1st Congressional District. He previously served in the New Hampshire House of Representatives\, as Hillsborough County treasurer\, and as a member of the Executive Council. \nFormer U.S. Senator John E. Sununu\, a Republican\, has not yet confirmed whether he will attend. Sununu served in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1997 to 2003 and in the U.S. Senate from 2003 to 2009.\n———\nCandidates for Governor\nDemocratic gubernatorial candidate Cinde Warmington will attend. Warmington also ran for governor in 2024 and was unsuccessful in the Democratic primary. A former health care attorney and former Executive Councilor\, Warmington is challenging incumbent Republican Gov. Kelly Ayotte. Warmington served on the Executive Council from 2021 through 2024. \nGov. Ayotte is not available. This is Ayotte’s first reelection bid. She was elected governor in 2024\, defeating then-Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig. Ayotte previously represented New Hampshire in the U.S. Senate from 2011 to 2017 and served as the state’s attorney general from 2004 to 2009.\n——–\nCandidate for NH Executive Council District 5\nFormer state senator Melanie Levesque is running for the District 5 Executive Council seat against incumbent Republican Executive Councilor David Wheeler. Levesque and Wheeler also faced each other in the 2024 general election for the District 5 Executive Council seat.\n——-\nDavid Wheeler has declined the invitation to participate.
